This is actually a decent liquid liner, it's cheap and long lasting. It did unfortuanately have some flaws though. The reason why I wouldn't buy it again is because of the the brush. I prefer a pen style liner, and this was a thicker brush, making it hard to make tiny lines. It did last a bit and I wore it when I went dancing. It also flakes a tad bit. I didn't notice any stinging feeling like the others wrote.
Pros:long lasting, cheap Cons:brush applicator isn't best for tiny lines.
I purchased this lip gloss in 'Hel-pink-i', a soft baby pink shade which is very pretty and for the price of less than £3 I knew that if it turned out to be rubbish it wouldn't have been too much of a waste.
I don't find that it gives a plumping affect but this hasn't disappointed me as I wasn't expecting it to. I'm very sceptical of plumping glosses and for such a small price tag I doubted that this one would work. That's not why I bought it though, I just liked the colour. It's pretty and sheer but you can build it up slightly for a little more pigmentation.
As for the formula of the gloss, I wasn't too sure about it at first. It's quite sticky and from past experience sticky often equates to a goopy mess not too long after application. I was pleasantly surprised by this one though. It's sticky enough to be quite long lasting without going all gooey. Major plus points! Then there's the absolutely gorgeous minty smell. I've always hated fruity scented glosses but minty glosses and lip balms are favourites of mines. I also like the slight tingly feeling that you feel on application of this gloss. It's not at all painful as some plumping glosses can be reguardless of whether they plump the lips or not.
I really like this gloss and definitely buy it again. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a huge variety of colours available but 'Hel-pink-i' is gorgeous anyway so that's not too much of an issue for me. This is the first Wet 'n' Wild gloss I've used and it's a good one. I'd certainly try other glosses from this brand in the future.
The packaging is really cute too!
Pros:Long lasting, feels nice and soft, lovely minty scent, pretty colours, tiny price tag Cons:Quite sticky, not the best if you want a plumping affect
i have this product in black. this is a very nice liner for those who need a felt tip applicator. it is waterproof...VERY waterproof. it is difficult to get off even with some makeup removers. but i am not good with the felt tip application, so i will not be buying this again. i have already gotten used to the brush tipped ones. but it lasts long & it is highly pigmented.
Pros:nice pigment & staying power. Cons:difficult to remove even with makeup remover.
I purchased this foundation
on a whim at an Albertson’s grocery store for about $3.99, I was
curious as to how Wet N Wild, a brand that was looked down upon for
many years would fair in the mineral makeup world. To be honest, I
really wasn’t expecting much from the foundation, because of the long
ingredient list which is always a bad sign for MMU. This foundation
also contains Bismuth Dioxide, which is a well known skin irritant.
Given my already low expectations of the foundation, I was not
disappointed.
The foundation is very
sheer, even when applying it wet it still doesn’t cover anything. The
good thing is that you can layer the foundation to take it from sheer
to light coverage. Wet N Wild only has a few shades available which is
a strike against it, when it comes to darker skin tones. The packaging
that the foundation comes in isn’t the best either, the square top is
slightly awkward when it comes to opening and closing the jar, and I
tend to drop it on more than one occasion. The sifter that comes in the
jar isn’t very secure either and when it came off when i accidentally
knocked the jar over, spilling a lot of foundation. I have other sifter
jars from other companies, both traditional and mineral makeup
companies and when those were knocked over, the sifter did not come off
the jar.
All in all, I would only
recommend this foundation to someone who has never tried mineral makeup
before and they wanted to get something cheap to play around with, to
see if they would like using that type of makeup. But if you are
experienced with mineral makeup, I suggest you by pass this and order
from a real mmu company.
Pros:Cheap, available everywhere Cons:Read the review for everything.
This is a great mascara if you want a clean and natural look. It is only about $2. It is a thinner wetter formula, so wait a little if you want several coats. If you want thicker plush lashes, this isn't for you, try megalash instead.
Pros:Clean and natural longer lashes, cheap Cons:brush isn't the best
I have this product in two shades and I didn't like it at all. The first problem is the texture. It is extremely goopy and sticky, it won't go on your lips smoothly. It is also badly scented, it kind of smells like dirt in my opinion. Then it is not very sparkly, especially the shannons shiny bit shade. Pros are that, it does have a pretty tube, with a diamond top and is cheap.
Pros:Cute tube, cheap Cons:texture is too sticky, scent, not very sparkly
So, even though it is a cheap product this eyeliner is a lot better than most that i have seen in the mainstream cosmetics world [maybelline, loreal, covergirl, etc.]. It is great. the usual price is $3 a piece, but it lasts a long time. im still using it & its over a month old. It is still very full still. it didnt burn me at all [because i know how to apply it]. You arent supposed to apply liquid eyeliner to the waterline of the eye, which is most likely the reason why it would burn. Anything there besides pencil eyeliner will most likely burn. It is a great product--if you know how to apply makeup. It does take a steady hand to apply any sort of liquid eyeliner though, i advise practice first.
Pros:the price is awesome. The darkness is great. It has worked perfectly for me, & i am pretty picky about my makeup. Best on top lashes alone. Cons:none.
I bought it just to try it and I really liked it. It's really similar to my Clinique's Moisture Sheer Tint and I completely LOVE that. So I would recommend it to anyone on a budget. =)
Pros:Excellent price, nice packaging, great coverage. Cons:The package it's rather small IMO, but since it's cheap, I won't complain. =)
I needed a mauve pink color that had a matte finish without it being drying. This lipstick is creamy and a very pretty color, the packaging is very nice too. It is not as lasting as more expensive brands but for the the price, it delivers.
Pros:pretty color, creamy non drying Cons:doesn't stay put for long
I bought this mascara in an emergency (left mup at home!) it works ok, but i had to apply a coat let it dry and reaply three times to get some volume and still i wasn't impressed. I paid 4.29 for it i'd rather pay a bit more for Loreal Voluminous.
Pros:cheap Cons:doesn't deliver that much volume even if you pile it on
I tried this after reading the reviews and because I am sick of paying high prices for other TMs but this is not very moisturizing at all, dries too quickly and by 5pm I felt like I should be in a wax museum. I couldn't wait to get home to wash my face.
Pros:thicker consistency than most Cons:waxy feel after a few hours, not moisturizing
I metioned in a thread that this stuff is like a black permanent marker and I am not kidding. I don't usually weat liquid liner so I brought this to experiment. I wore this in the shower and tried washing it off with face wash, it didn't budge one bit. This stuff will stay put, until it is removed with makeup remover. It cheap so it's easy on the pocket, retails for $4, but I got it at $2.50 on sale. The only setback is that it is somewhat sheer and might need two coats on the same line if you want an intense look.
Pros:Waterproof, smudgeproof, cheap Cons: May need more than one coat for a darker look.
An excellent mascara. I used to love Megalash, but now I'm switching to megaplump. It gets your lashes megalong, is very cheap, it's not as wet as megalash so it doesn't take as long to dry. Very layerable, gives you beautiful dark lashes, and washes off easily.
Pros:Cheap, dark lashes, super long lashes, thick lashes, washes off easily. Cons:
Wet 'N' Wild's Mega Glo Illuminating Powder in Bermuda is an amazing product when it comes to glowing skin. The color I bought is dark enough for me to use it as a bronzer, and it comes close to being one of my favorite ones at that. It comes in a circular silver container with strips of colors of harmonious shades. The top is clear so you can see the color strips. The powder it self, wasn't "dry" like I thought it would be. But instead it has a silky-cashmere almost creamy feel to it. It goes onto the skin really smoothly. The color is very pigmented, it doesn't look ashy, or chalky. Also, the color has a glow in it, it makes your face look dewy and glowy after you put it on. It also lasts a while, I've had mine for at least 2 months and I haven't even budged it. I use it almost every other day. I usually switch from doing a glowy bronzed look to a pinky glowy look.
Pros:Looks glowy, dewy & fresh. The powder is a silky cashmere creamy type of powder, instead of dry. The color is pigmented. Cons:None really, just make sure you pick a color that matches your skin tone.
Lip glosses from Wet n' Wild are definitely comparable to those of Mac Lipglass, however the price is definitely different. Don't get me wrong I do like Mac Lipglass, but sometimes cannot afford it. This is a great alternative to it.
