This set comes in a red pouch that is really cute and screams retro to me.

 

Inside come two lipsticks, too swoom for and romacin'. Both colors flatter your lips rather than making them stand out.

Romancin' is darker, so i keep for night looks.

The lipsticks, although gorgeous when worn alone, look better with a bit of lipgloss on top.

I just wish Delicate crush would come in a full size bottle, this lipgloss is gorgeous. It's the only downfall i find to this set. 

Bought "Star Secrets" lipstick in "Penelope's Red" ... ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS RED that is TRULY RED not pink! I had the hardest time finding a red lipstick that did not turn pink on my skin... this is the best drug-store brand that worked!

I got this at TJ Maxx for 2.99.  This is really more of a tinted lipbalm than a lipstick. Its a vanilla/butterscotch color but when applied, you have to layer like ten times just for it to show up. I don't mind but it does last a good while. It feels like lipbalm when you have it on. They no longer sell it online so I guess it was discontinued.  I really love it though and would repurchase it if I could find it but I doubt I'd find it.

I first bought this in 04, it quickly became my go-to lipstick.  The color is like a neutral/mauve and looks great on my already very pigmented lips.  The formula is smooth and long lasting, I don't find it drying either.  I have purchased at least 5 tubes of this stuff lol.

I love these lipsticks, I'm a drugstore kind of girl and they are so cheap and come in a lot of colors.  I have

519A which is kind of a bluies toned bright red, it's so pretty.

505A  A shimmery fuschia color, kinda 80's but in a new way

501B is a peachy pink, very creamy

511B a creamy version of 505A, no shimmer and a little lighter

547B a sheer bronzey shimmer

516C a peachy shimmer

514A a dark red with shimmer

 

they look great with a little clear gloss on top!

My favorite is 501B and 511B the creamiest.           

I love this color! It's a warm, shimmery honey color. It's nicely pigmented. I love to wear this with clear gloss over the top for added shine. It doesn't last as long as I would like, but it doesn't wear off quickly either. It goes on smooth, and doesn't dry my lips out.

Myth is a good lipstick for really toning down the lips.  Apply a little to tone down lips, or more for the completely nude lips.  Some nudes are too pinky or yellow for me, but Myth is perfect. Great with a smokey eye.

 

Do be careful to not apply too much or you will look like a corpse.

I also strongly believe that finding a good nude takes time, because it really depends on your skintone and undertones. 

Almost an exact match to the swatch on the website, except it is shimmery. It is bright and the gold shimmer makes it a really pretty color. Very intense pink!

This is my favorite lipstick shade from MAC. It's a great color to use when you want to tone down the color of your lips.

It's a neutral nude that is darker than my skintone (nc25-30), and still has a some color in it so I don't look like a corpse. It has enough color in it, that it is great for smokey eyes or even lighter eye makeup.

 

Because it is a matte finish, it is very pigmented, and it is quite long-lasting, but can be very drying.  I like the matte look, but sometimes I slather on a thick balm like Rosebud's Strawberry Lip Balm and then apply the lipstick over it, so that it has a glossier finish. 

Clinique seems to have a good selection of nude lipsitcks, but I haven't tried the other nude colors from clinque yet. But so far this seems like a perfect match for me, without being too pink or too dark. I wear this almost everyday! The texture is very creamy and it doesn't dry out my lips like most other lipstick would.

 

 

I purchased this lip stick off Strawberry Net as soon as I applied some, it was love.

 

Mandy is a beautiful, medium shade of red. It can applied as a sheer tint or you can layer it for a deeper colour. Both way looks gorgeous. It's also pretty long lasting. Topped off with some clear gloss, and you've got a gorgeous combination.

 

Packaging is great as well. It's a plain silver tube, and when you take the lid off, the inside tube is decorated with a leaf design. Very pretty indeed.

This is LE from the Heatherette 2008 collection. I think it's an amplified cream. It's a really cool pink with a little bit of lavender. Really bright and unnatural but it looks really good on with purple and green eyeshadows. It kind of makes my lips feel a bit dry so lipbalm underneath is a must for me. I love the bright pink packaging it's in.
